There are pictures, assignments, and website links for each unit that will take you to games, information, videos and interactive websites related to the social studies standards we will cover. Namaste! (That means "Hi!" in Hindi, the main language in India.)
Yesterday we completed our India Geography Pictorial and learned all about the geography of this fascinating country. Next week we will learn about the first Indian civilization on the Indus River as well as the two religions that started in India, Hinduism and Buddhism. During the week of February 6-10 we will learn about the great empires of ancient India, review, and take our India Test.
INDIA GEOGRAPHY QUIZ: Use your India Geography Pictorial and India Geography Quiz Practice Map to prepare for our India Geography Quiz on Tuesday, January 31. You can download both of these from the India Assignments page.
